Due to the downturn in the credit markets in 2007, we built a fund that fills the void for credit worthy borrowers who are currently locked out of conventional financing.
Our fund, the Helix Investment Fund, LLC. is a equity-based mortgage fund. The fund lends mortgage money to borrowers, whose monthly interest payments become the investor's returns. The investment term is two years, after which the investor may either withdraw the original investment plus net interest or reinvest. Our rigourous evaluation of property and a borrowers ability to pay is what sets our lending portfolio apart from the rest. By cutting up to 20% of the actual appraised value we are assured of current and future property value, particularly in a downturn market, allowing the LLC to have a profitable sale if the property were to be acquired by the LLC.
Series A – guarantied interest return shares backed by our Corporate Guaranty, for investors who wish to receive a fixed rate of return, which is currently being offered at 8%.
Series B – variable rate of return shares, typically presents a higher yield of return than series A shares. This series is currently yielding 12%. With series B shares you have the opportunity to reinvest your full monthly interest income or a portion of it to take advantage of compounding interest to obtain higher yields.
